ePropulsion's high-performance electric outboard motors with an integrated battery are the credit choice of the more environmentally conscious boater. Electric outboard motors are equipped with lithium-ion batteries, and their advantage is lightness, carelessness and ecology. ePropulsion's electric outboard motors have been found e.g. As the best electric outboard motor by the Finnish magazines "Tekniikan Maailma" world and "Kippari".
Instead of a traditional charger, the batteries of the ePropulsion electric outboard can also be charged using hydrogenation. This means that the electric outboard motor captures the flow produced by the rotation of the propeller as energy and, charges itself. For example, in sailboats, the electric outboard can be charged up to 1 kW while sailing at a speed of 10 knots.
Spirit electric outboards are light and therefore also easily portable. The Spirit models include the Spirit 1.o Plus, which is suitable for rowing boats, dinghies and light console boats, such as the Highfield Ultralite boats, and the Spirit 1.0 EVO, which already has more power.
With the Spirit 1.0 Plus electric outboard you can drive up to 1h 15 min at full power, and trolling speed up to 7-12 h depending on the boat.
Spirit 1.0 is an easy and light electric outboard motor. Weighing only 18 kg, it has a removable battery and a folding handle for easy transport and storage.
Evo gives more power than Spirit 1.0 Plus. For example, in Highfield's Classic collection boat CL380, the speed reaches up to 10.6 knots and the driving time up to 50 minutes at full throttle. The advantage of the Spirit 1.0 PLUS model is that the Evo has a hydrogenation feature and it is possible to connect the engine to remote control.
Thanks to the hydrogenation feature, the outboard motor can use the flow it produces itself. The ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Evo electric outboard is designed especially for sailboats and small console boats.

ePropulsion Navy Series electric outboard motors meet the increased demand for efficient electric outboard motors. The Navy series has two engines with different power, 3.0 and 6.0.
The incredibly quiet Navy 3.0 offers quick acceleration and performance with 3 kW power. It can handle everything, including 6 horsepower traditional gasoline engines. The direct-drive carbon brushless motor is suitable for seawater and is practically maintenance-free.
Navy 3.0 is suitable as an outboard motor for even a larger, light boat, and with a load of 150 kg, a four-meter boat can travel 20 km/h with the Navy 3.0 electric outboard motor.
The more efficient, 6.0 kilowatt ePropulsion Navy 6.0 performs everything, including a 10-horsepower traditional outboard. A Navy electric outboard motor lifts the light boat into a glide. The very practical electric outboard motor is suitable for all kinds of activities, and for example fishing, because the quiet outboard motor does not scare the fish away.
The Navy 6.0 is also an excellent choice as an auxiliary engine for sailors, for example, because it produces the charging energy it needs using hydrogenation when the sailboat is sailed at a speed of at least 4 knots. The outboard motor is available with both handle and remote control.

The E-series battery weighs 70 % less than a traditional lead-acid battery of the same operating capacity, and costs half as much after five years of use.
In addition, when using a standard battery, the engine does not receive information about the battery's state of charge, and thus the battery's capacity cannot be used optimally.
If you still want to use a third-party lithium or lead-acid battery, the battery voltage should be 48V. The discharge current must be more than 62.5A in Navy 3.0 Evo and 125A in Navy 6.0 Evo.
Evo's surface-mounted control unit has a built-in battery and is self-charging thanks to the solar panel. When you use it wirelessly, and the battery is low, you can charge it with a cable.
