epropulsion electric outboard

Step into a new era of boating by choosing a powerful ePropulsion electric outboard motor

High-performance ePropulsion electric outboard

ePropulsion's high-performance electric outboard motors with an integrated battery are the credit choice of the more environmentally conscious boater. Electric outboard motors are equipped with lithium-ion batteries, and their advantage is lightness, carelessness and ecology. ePropulsion's electric outboard motors have been found e.g. As the best electric outboard motor by the Finnish magazines "Tekniikan Maailma" world and "Kippari".

Hydrogenation, charge batteries while sailing!

Instead of a traditional charger, the batteries of the ePropulsion electric outboard can also be charged using hydrogenation. This means that the electric outboard motor captures the flow produced by the rotation of the propeller as energy and, charges itself. For example, in sailboats, the electric outboard can be charged up to 1 kW while sailing at a speed of 10 knots.

Epropulsion electric outboard: SPIRIT PLUS and evo

Spirit electric outboards are light and therefore also easily portable. The Spirit models include the Spirit 1.o Plus, which is suitable for rowing boats, dinghies and light console boats, such as the Highfield Ultralite boats, and the Spirit 1.0 EVO, which already has more power.

Spirit 1.0 Plus

With the Spirit 1.0 Plus electric outboard you can drive up to 1h 15 min at full power, and trolling speed up to 7-12 h depending on the boat.

Spirit 1.0 is an easy and light electric outboard motor. Weighing only 18 kg, it has a removable battery and a folding handle for easy transport and storage.

from €10,000

Spirit 1.0 EVO

Evo gives more power than Spirit 1.0 Plus. For example, in Highfield's Classic collection boat CL380, the speed reaches up to 10.6 knots and the driving time up to 50 minutes at full throttle. The advantage of the Spirit 1.0 PLUS model is that the Evo has a hydrogenation feature and it is possible to connect the engine to remote control.

Thanks to the hydrogenation feature, the outboard motor can use the flow it produces itself. The ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Evo electric outboard is designed especially for sailboats and small console boats.

Advantages of the epropulsion electric outboard

Light engine

  • The Spirit 1.0 Plus weighs only 18 kg

Quiet

  • The electric outboard motor does not scare the fish away when fishing, does not produce noise pollution and does not disturb the peace of nature

An environmentally friendly choice

  • An electric outboard motor is a more ecological choice than a traditional gasoline engine

Easy to use

  • Thanks to the removable battery and folding handle, the electric outboard motor is easy to transport

Removable battery

  • You can buy, for example, two batteries, which increases the driving time.

No petrol smell or engine noise

  • An electric outboard motor is a quieter and more comfortable choice for the boater and the environment.

You can invest however you want

  • An electric outboard motor is a quieter and more comfortable choice for the boater and the environment.

Powerful electric outboard motor

  • A more efficient electric outboard motor is equivalent to a 3 horsepower traditional internal combustion engine.

Driving time up to 2-3 hours

  • When you buy several batteries, you can change the battery and extend the driving time.

Self-charging electric outboard

  • The hydrogenation feature produces on-board energy. The electric outboard motor captures the flow produced by the rotation of the propeller as energy, and "charges itself."

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Can an external power supply be used for the Spirit 1.0 Plus and Evo models?

Yes, and an external power supply cable is required. We officially recommend ePropulsion's 48V E-series battery. We also recommend an engine cover.

How to store the Spirit battery in the long term?

Store the battery in a dry environment and maintain its charge level 60%. Recharge every three months.

Are Spirit Plus 1.0 and Evo suitable for seawater use?

Yes, they are designed for extensive use in seawater as well. The material is a high-quality aluminum metal alloy and it is finished by anodizing and powder coated to achieve better durability.

Does the engine automatically shut off if I forget to start it?

Yes, the Spirit 1.0 Plus and Evo turn off automatically after 30 minutes.

Navy Series: Power and silence

ePropulsion Navy Series electric outboard motors meet the increased demand for efficient electric outboard motors. The Navy series has two engines with different power, 3.0 and 6.0.

NAVY SERIES - Electric outboard motor

The incredibly quiet Navy 3.0 offers quick acceleration and performance with 3 kW power. It can handle everything, including 6 horsepower traditional gasoline engines. The direct-drive carbon brushless motor is suitable for seawater and is practically maintenance-free.

Navy 3.0 is suitable as an outboard motor for even a larger, light boat, and with a load of 150 kg, a four-meter boat can travel 20 km/h with the Navy 3.0 electric outboard motor.

from €10,000

Suitable for all kinds of activities

The more efficient, 6.0 kilowatt ePropulsion Navy 6.0 performs everything, including a 10-horsepower traditional outboard. A Navy electric outboard motor lifts the light boat into a glide. The very practical electric outboard motor is suitable for all kinds of activities, and for example fishing, because the quiet outboard motor does not scare the fish away.

The Navy 6.0 is also an excellent choice as an auxiliary engine for sailors, for example, because it produces the charging energy it needs using hydrogenation when the sailboat is sailed at a speed of at least 4 knots. The outboard motor is available with both handle and remote control.

Advantages of E-SERIES batteries

High energy density

70% lighter and smaller than standard batteries.

Longer life cycle

Retains 80% capacity after 3000 recharges.

Competitive prices

Charging capacity competitively priced (€0.5/kW.)

Made for ePropulsion engines

A smart battery that works seamlessly in cooperation with the engine. This way you always have maximum power.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Can the E40 battery be used in the Navy 3.0 Evo or the E80 battery in the navy 6.0 Evo?

Yes, but then you have to use two batteries connected in parallel.

We officially recommend the E80 battery for the Navy 3.0 Evo, and the E175 battery for the Navy 6.0 Evo. You can get more information from the ePropulsion tutorial:

ePropulsion E-Series Battery | General Instructions

Can I use third party batteries for the Navy 3.0 / 6.0 Evo?

ePropulsion's original E-Series battery has the best unit price per kilowatt hour on the market. (€0.46)

The E-series battery weighs 70 % less than a traditional lead-acid battery of the same operating capacity, and costs half as much after five years of use.

In addition, when using a standard battery, the engine does not receive information about the battery's state of charge, and thus the battery's capacity cannot be used optimally.

If you still want to use a third-party lithium or lead-acid battery, the battery voltage should be 48V. The discharge current must be more than 62.5A in Navy 3.0 Evo and 125A in Navy 6.0 Evo.

Does Evo's surface-mounted control unit need to be charged?

Evo's surface-mounted control unit has a built-in battery and is self-charging thanks to the solar panel. When you use it wirelessly, and the battery is low, you can charge it with a cable.

Is the Navy 3.0 / 6.0 Evo suitable for seawater use?

Yes, they are designed for extensive use in seawater as well. The material is a high-quality aluminum metal alloy and it is finished by anodizing and powder coated to achieve better durability.
