YachtsAgent participated in the Lagoon Escapade Croatia regatta.

Lagoon Escapade celebrated Lagoon's 40th anniversary.

This year, Lagoon is celebrating 40 years of catamaran design and innovation, and to mark the anniversary, a unique global event was organized, Lagoon World Escapade 2024. The event spread to more than 30 regional Escapades around the world, from Australia to Brazil, bringing together more than 2,400 Lagoon friends on more than 400 catamarans. We at YachtsAgent had the pleasure of being a part of celebrating this milestone at the Lagoon Escapade Croatia event organized in Croatia.

Welcome vibes

The Lagoon Escapade started in Split on May 15, where Hub-a welcome party was organized at the company's office. The evening included live music played by a DJ, delicious cocktail bites and an open bar serving Lagoon's signature cocktails, creating a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere for all in attendance.

Challenges from Split to Maslenica

On the morning of the first day of sailing, we faced challenging southerly winds that tested everyone's sailing skills. Despite the difficult weather conditions, we successfully sailed to Maslenica, where clearing weather and sunshine allowed for a quick swim before dinner and a pool party, which strengthened the spirit of togetherness and fun.

In the spirit of competition to rogoznica

On the second day, we left Maslenica for Marina Frapa in Rogoznica, where the 10 MPK race started. The wind weakened in the afternoon, but the competitive spirit remained strong. We were proud when we floated the catamaran Twin Joy+ placed second. Great Britain's Princess Fontanka won and Croatian Negroni took third place.

Last night's party

At Marina Frapa in Rogoznica, we prepared for the last evening, which included a multi-course buffet dinner and an award ceremony. During the evening, we also watched a video presenting the Coral Guardian project, which is one of the environmental projects supported by Lagoon. This video brought out a meaningful message about the protection of marine life. The evening ended with a wonderful party that left all participants with unforgettable memories.

The Lagoon Escapade in Croatia not only offered us the opportunity to test our sailing skills, but also to celebrate the durability and quality of Lagoon catamarans. This event strengthened our togetherness and the community spirit of sailing.
